I update now Avast 8 to the 2014 almost without problem.
After restarting the system i noted a constant disk usage when i browsing, a lot more than the 8.0 version. I disable many items in the webshield and resolved the issue for now.
I try to make a rescue cd image but the image is never created, the first time update/install perhaps 2 programs( xml parser and ¿¿windows deploymen toolkit??"), the xml parser get the error "msxml6r.dll not updated is protected by windows Package version: 6.0.3883.0, OS Protected version: 6.0.3883.0" wich is already updated.
When i trying to make a rescue cd iso never is created(choose the destination folder ,make the update definition, finish but not is made).
