Microsoft Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit
« on: October 26, 2013, 11:04:30 PM »
Have a clean install of Avast 2014 version 9.0.2006. Have installed Microsoft Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit, but not started it. Obviously, I will ignore the Avast product when setting it up, but if anybody has some pointers, I will really appreciate it. No sense crashing a system, or Avast! 8)

I did have problems with Microsoft Silverlight and all my extensions crashing in Chrome.

To fix the extension crashes under Chrome I disabled SEHOP and to keep Silverlight from crashing I disabled EAF.

I uninstalled it. I was fed up with the trial and error that comes with it.

I hear you. I am thinking of uninstalling Silverlight, 'cause it is starting to behave like Flash, with every new windows update... I am going to be very selective with EMET. Thanks... 8)
