Avast warnings when Sage/Peachtree 2012 starts
« on: October 17, 2013, 04:30:15 PM »
Been using Peachtree Accounting and Avast Free together without problems for several years.  Beginning this morning, every time I launch Peachtree, Avast starts barking warnings, and ultimately 51 files in my \Users\...\AppData\Local\Temp folder are flagged as suspicious (Evo-Gen [Susp]) and moved to the chest.  The files in question are all dll's and appear to have randomly generated filenames.  I'm guessing that these are files Peachtree generates on startup, but so far have not confirmed that.  Any insight into why this might be happening or how to correct it?  Thank you!
