Avast! is adding a sig to my outgoing mail
« on: November 02, 2013, 09:36:49 PM »
Avast! is adding an additional sig below my "real" sig on my outgoing Thunderbird emails:

"This email is free from viruses and malware because avast! Antivirus protection is active. http://www.avast.com"

I'd rather it didn't -- how can I turn it off?

Open the Mail Shield settings, avastUI > Settings > Active Protection > Mail Shield - click the Sprocket icon on the same row. From Settings window, select behavior and uncheck the Insert note into clean message (outgoing).
