Glad I came to this forum to ask or else I wouldn't have noticed! I added the file path in Avast and MBAM but didn't find any reference to URL like the one for MBAM, and MCShields forum is not in English! I tried to click update manually and it didn't pop up anything with Avast so I'm guessing that is enough?

Yes its all automatic, no need to adjust anything.
If you don't want the popups from MCShield when you start your system tick the box in the pic
I've never used the url exclusions for MBAM, not necessary imo.

The auto-update feature in MCShield makes it a perfect set-it and forget it.
And the pop-ups are there and gone in an instant.

@kramyugtaht MCShield is another great combination for USB protection along side with Avast as well
