Avast PIN. No idea what it is.

I have Avast on my tablet. I have tried to access it to see how I can use it but it constantly asks for a PIN. I have no idea what it might be. I don't remember ever providing one & have tried all the regular codes I use to no avail. Is there a way I can find out my PIN, reset it or get rid of this program if it won't allow me to use it?

Thanx. I tried to uninstall & reinstall the program but just discoverd my tablet will not boot now. What a disaster? No more security apps for me. safer without them it seems.

Well, I can't imagine how avast! will prevent a tablet from booting...
Please, check the battery level. Is your device rooted?
Most probably you've set the pin while installing the anti-theft.
