just as title said, i had very frustating day when i found out i cant right click > open winrar. just doing nothing and also as a bonus froze up my speedcommander (had to restart windows to fix it, even task manager can't do a thing)
fortunately i know how to fix it (not really), i need to disable option from "scan when executing" > "scan program from executing"
but that means NO scanning when executing program!

i use speedcommander as my alternative explorer, other explorer (xy plorer) also has the same problem
amusingly most problem gone if i use windows explorer
using win 8, 64 bit < problem persist even after reinstall it, i though my windows broken
avast 2014, just install it yesterday
please fix it, this is the first time i had this kind of problems with avast
usually just extra hard to autoupdate from clean install (older avast)
