Hi
i'm looking for a freesoftware that let me disable & enable my lan(nic)

i don't want to use windows xp

is there a small free software

Do you run Windows XP? If so, why dont you want to use Windows to disable your lan?

No, Mantra uses '98.
I don't know any software to do it... But I can imagine writting a script for it  8)

i use windows xp sp2

because turn off using windows , often goes in crash

It will bring you a hardware problem sooner or later.
What do you want? Be unconnected (off-line) for a while)?
Why don't you remove the cable or have a switch (on/off) for the network cable?
