only windows defender but that comes integrated with windows 7.

IMPORTANT
First of all i perform complete scans periodically so, NO, my pc wasnt infected, at least nothing that avast 8 couldn't detect.

1) installed avast IS 2014.
2)reboot
3) perform a fast scan... no issues
4) performed a complete scan, 1 bug detected, which was never detected by avast 8 or windows defender. The bug was located in one of the windows defender folders.
5) put it inside the vault, completed the full scan.
6) then avast asked me to restart the pc
7) then it starts to perform a deep scan on boot........come on! those take a LOT of time
8) again detects i believe the same think. choose keep in the vault again. (screen that i posted)
9) unistall this avast 2014 software
10) reinstall avast 8, performed full scans, no problems everything is fine.

And ipods connections didn't open itunes when i was using avast 2014.

so yeah another painful experience with this buggy beta software.

With another antivirus like avast windows defender is redundant and can at times get in the way.

Re:
4. What was the bug ?
5. Why put it in the chest if it was a bug and not an alert ?
6 & 7. avast would/should only ask for a boot-time scan (requiring a reboot) if it had made a detection, points 4&5 above.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.2.6105 (build 24.2.8918.824) UI 1.0.799/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

I can't get rid of windows defender its part of windows 7, with avast 8 i didn't have this problem so the redundant here is avast 2014 and me trying to use it.

4. i believe its the same on the screen i posted above VBS: Lufferminer-D
5. Why????? cause Avast always mess with my system, i don't trust it anymore, what if was a file system detected as a false alarm?
6&7 Well it asked for a boot-time scan which took AGES to complete pretty annoying.

Not at all.  Just pointing out that Windows Defender can be disabled. ???  That would perhaps stop the detections on its signatures.

yeah but you know that's not a fix. What about uninstalling avast 2014 and using Microsoft security essentials instead? What about fixing avast 2014?
