"Yes" vote for Kerio, very good reliable fw with little system damage, (Czech product too, if I'm not mistaken).

"NO" vote for ZoneAlarm.  It would be a good choice for beginners if it didn't create so many problems.

No experience with any others.

This is my opinion, but I'll bow to Technical as he's older. :) (Though I am lying about my age).

Yes. But no conflict with Opera M2, the email service into Opera Browser. ;)

Zonealarm is much easier for novice users and is a wonderful firewall.
