Problem with premiere

I just purchased the premiere version of Avast and followed all the installation criteria carefully.
I have a message stating that 1 shield is disabled and no matter what I do I cannot get it to resolve, also trying to update gives me a host is unreachable message and I keep receiving attention messages.
What do I do to fix this please?

Repair avast!:
1. Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs -> avast!
2. Click on 'Repair'.
3. Follow instructions.
4. Reboot.
