HI,  having problem updating engine and virus definitions. It has been initializingand always telling me to wait,
having been waiting for 2 days but the progress bar is now moving as it used to be earlier. pls help me out

Try a repair...Control Panel>uninstall a Program>double click "avast">click "change">reboot.  :)
