Support Ticket Response

Can anyone tell me how long it usually takes Avast support to respond to a support request? I submitted a ticket over 24 hours ago and I have not heard from them.

Considering the time frame, it may depend on how long a backlog there is from the past weekend.

I don't know if you can help. My avast internet security suite's renewal date is a few days away and I've been trying to complete the renewal process but am experiencing problems. I presently have the $39.99 package that provides for 3 computers. I discovered on my avast program that they offer a $29.99 package for one computer and that is all I need. For some reason they don't seem to make this option available on other pages on their site where they display the different packages they offer.  Anyway, after making the purchase with my credit card I never received any response from avast in the form of a receipt or license number or anything, nor did the purchase register with my credit card account.

I telephoned avast for help but they directed me to submit a ticket and that is proving to be a rather inefficient.

Any suggestions?

No. not in my spam folder and if it had transacted it would have registered in my credit card acct, but it didn't.

That was the suggestion I needed. I called sales and have resolved the problem. ... Now I'm just a little baffled why the three different avast people I spoke to on their other phone numbers directed me to submit a support ticket on line. They were very unhelpful I'm sorry to have to say.

What number did you call, if it was the free support number that is a 3rd party support service (not avast) and they are only dealing with general avast support issues not subscriptions, etc. This is probably why they they suggested submitting a support ticket.

Here on the forums you are more likely to encounter avast users who are knowledgeable of avast issues including matters like this.

The new 2014 version has a big big bug: Once installed, you can't connect internet trough Internet Explorer,new avast is bloCking the program and you can't go or get on the internet !!!
I went backwards in a former session with the formar version to solve the problem. What does I have to do in the future ???
