Since installing Avast Internet Security a few days ago I cannot connect any remote laptops or Apple devices to stream iTunes from my PC. Also Windows Media Player will not connect wirelessly through either WMP or Pure Flow Server to my Pure Evoke radio. In either case when scanning from the remote devices for the server, no server appears in the scan, so I am assuming it is Avast on the Desktop PC which holds my music collection which is the problem. I have contacted the support desk but their help was useless to a new owner of the programme who has little understanding currently of how the programme works.
