HI I was wondering if I could ask a question about the Emergency updater and avast 2014 free. I was wondering my hard drive light was going crazy this morning and the other thing that was happening was avast was scanning a lot and after a few minutes my floppy drive light would come on and make noise and then it would take a pause and then the floppy drive light would come back on and make some more noise. I was just curious what could be happening to avast and what it is doing does this mean that avast is updating some files in the background that I am not aware of and what could avast be updating between 21: am and 1:30 am in the morning any ways.
I was just curious because this has happened to me a few times during this year and it just makes a person wonder what is going on with your av some times and if you should be worried at all or just curious.

ps: I should mention that I do not have a floppy disk in my floppy drive in it when this happening.
