« on: November 02, 2013, 10:35:07 PM »
Hello.
help me please:
yesterday avast has detected file HmNoa.dll in my computer. Avast carantine this file with detect name Evo.Gen.
But when i scan this file by file scanner it's clean. Avast detect it only when i copy this file.

I give a link to file, please, add this file to next virus base update for it was possibly to detect by file scanner.

Thanks!

I sent a file through that form, but I have no answer till this time.
Turn off Avast protect because at all time I receive this message Infected by Evo.Gen.

You might get no answer, but it should get fixed if it's a FP.

Quote
so what i did is i google the filename to confirm that its not a virus ,
you cant confirm that just by googling a name..... if that is all you did

upload file to www.virustotal.com and test with 40+ malware scanners

alternative: www.metascan-online.com / www.jotti.org

on virustotal etc. online scanner file is CLEAN! so I ask to add this file to next virus database for file scanner.

I have attached file, what other problems?

if not, i'll be forced change Avast to something better.
so much false detect is unacceptable for modern antivirus products  >:(
