I'm a day late and a dollar short....but I experienced no significant problems with V.9.0.2007 on WINXP SP3. However, just as soon as I updated very recently to V.2014.9.0.2014, several tray items are not loading and for the first time since EVER, the Avast program crashed when I attempted to take a second look at contents of the Virus Chest items in Statistics/Component Status. Boom! Crash. But instant restart as if nothing had happened. For now, instead of reverting to previous version, I have elected to check off LOAD AVAST after system services, etc. to see if that cures the partial tray item load in Windows startup.
