About the Virus Chest....
« on: May 31, 2005, 03:08:38 PM »
My Virus Chest has 3 system files in it.... kernel32.dll, winsock.dll, and wsock32.dll... when I right click it asks to restore or delete etc. Does that mean that these are bad files? Are these suppose to be here? Help please new to avast

No,thats backup (it's separated from others). When you install avast! it creates a backup of your system files (those 3). Files are ofcourse first scanned before backuped.
