Avast and Windows firewall?

Is there any point in having Windows firewall turned on if your using the Avast firewall?

No, you can use only avast firewall, having 2 firewall enable at the same time is never a good idea.

Thx for that I didn't know that, this thing isn't new, if you running w8 or w8.1 no need for other firewall(only if you want outbound control), same if you have w7, but IMO W8 is much more secure
