Unable to Scan Incredimail, NProtected Files

After each scan, I find that there are 81 files from Incredimail (c:\WINDOWS\Application Data\IM\Runtime\...symobols) and the recycle bin (cRECYCLED\NPROTECT\00060584.jCC) that cannot be scanned.

How can I get avast to scan these files?  It will not repair, and I hesitate to delete them or put them in the chest because I am not certain what they are or do.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks for your help in advance!

Incredimail entries are indicative of spyware infection.  I'd suggest you run Ad-aware, MS AntiSpyware, etc.  Avast isn't designed to remove spyware. Good luck.

The recycle bin (cRECYCLED\NPROTECT\00060584.jCC) that cannot be scanned.
Do you use Norton SystemWorks? If so, did you try to remove protected files from the Recycle Bin?
Do you use Norton Antivirus?
