Access Anywhere Questions

Hello,

Just wanted to get a feel for Access Anywhere.

How secure is it? 
What security protocols are used? 
Is it reasonably fast?
Can it be used to work on an office PC when at home?  Or, is it only useful for accessing files on an office PC?

Any other critiques might be useful.

You can use it and it would be as if you were sitting at the remote PC. I use it to help my father when he has a PC issue. I can transfer files, and manipulate Windows as if I were sitting there. As far as I know it uses a secure connection, although I don't have specifics.
