Stop information pop ups
« on: November 05, 2013, 12:30:54 PM »
The new version of Avast keeps annoying me with pop ups about reviewing Avast on download.com or reading some article about Facebook privacy settings. How do I get rid of these? They are not influenced by settings > appearance for other pop ups (info, update, warning, alert) which are set to disappear after x seconds. I am not interested in these new pop ups. Disabling the community features doesn't work either.

How can I disable these new annoying grey box pop ups?

Setting them to 0 seconds makes them stay up till you x them out.
I too want to disable all Avast info pop ups.

Otherwise, is it possible to remove the current version and run an old one?

These facebook popups etc are actually VPS updates. There's a bug at this moment of time. It isn't major and should be fixed soon enough.
