Allright, here are the final versions

http://www2.asw.cz/~vlk/it/suspic.wav
http://www2.asw.cz/~vlk/it/virfound.wav
http://www2.asw.cz/~vlk/it/vpsupd.wav

Should they be included in the next avast  (Italian version) update?

For the second audio message (in French)
"Un virus a infecté votre ordinateur!"
For the third audio message (in French)
"La base de donnée virale a été mis a jour!"
I'm not sure for the first audio message:
"Une probable infection virale a été détectée!"

When you check AV you choose Avast!

Sorry:

For the third audio message (in French)
"La base de donnée virale a été mis a jour!"

There's a mistake: "La base de donnée virale a été mise àjour!"

The file http://www2.asw.cz/~vlk/it/suspic.wav now sounds good. I don't know why the first 5 times it had a bad and interrupted sound. The most important thing is that now it is OK! :)

Hello,

I am wondering... If I buy the pro version of Avast, will it come with the girl of the picture inside the box too? ;)

Just kidding.. :)

niko, thanks for the French translation, but could you please rephrase "Un virus a infecté votre ordinateur!" ??
Because this means "A virus has infected your computer", which is not the same as "There is a virus on your computer".

See the difference? We don't want to scare the innocent users, telling them the machine is infected while there's only a sample of a virus found on their machine (usually not active)...

Vlk, I know some French language and the word "infecté" has the same meaning of "infettato" or "infetto" in Italian. "Infected" in English has the same value, i suppose. Infected, Infetto, Infecté: "Somebody, something with a bad viral thing inside". I don't know which vocal message Niko heard. However, (honestly) I never have understood this subtle difference. Maybe it's necessary to create different messages for the first and the second concept. I really don't believe this because (in the Italian voice-message) I heard the word "possibile" (possible) a clear invite to check the suspect file, NOT the certainty of malware presence.

So for:
Quote
"There is a virus on your computer"
the french translation should be simply: "Avast! a détecté un virus sur votre ordinateur!"
