Turn off visual update notification

I've been looking for an option to turn off the annoying visual notification that pops up whenever the virus db has been updated. It just needs to go away, and I can't figure out how to do it... Is it even possible?

You can disable these popup boxes with my avast! External Control tool.
You can get it from eXcessive Software page in my signature.

avast! Tweaker -> Suppress Update Popup Box
Enable this feature and you should no longer see that blue popups when updates are done. If update fails you'll still get red popup box (unless you also disable it,but i don't recommend that).
