Just a quick update. Here is the reply I received today - after almost one month - for my support ticket:

[My question was: I found out that Avast has a tracking module which uses  Google Analytics code (at least) in the GUI.
Could you please tell me how to disable it?]

<< Hello,

Thank you for contacting our support center with your concerns.
I cannot as I do not know anything about it or such avast! behaviour.

Best Regards,

Thanks, Mr Bucek! Now my faith in Avast Software is absolutely restored!!
This is unreal ... hmmm ... No, it's a typical answer from a level 1 Tech-support highschool flunkie.
Thanks, Tetsuo, for sharing this informative answer.
That made my day too :)

BTW, I'm yet to see it in GUI as you did. To this day the only time I see it is related to the emergency updates.

So it seems that we have to download ANOTHER Google product to opt out.

So Avast joined the sell outs to the giant Google consortium and their quest to own all of our data.

Honestly what's the big deal? You all own smartphones, right? Okay, If you have an Android phone your every move is being tracked by Google. If you have an iphone, your every move is being tracked by Apple. Windows phone? You get the picture by now.

The simple fact is nowadays there is no escape from the Googles of this world analysing your data every time you log on to your PC, and connect to the internet. Whether that be via Chrome, Firefox, or indeed Avast! It really is as simple as that.

If you don't want your data / internet connections to be analysed etc, then stop going online, because there really is no escape from it. So, to come on here and start moaning about how Google is connecting via Avast there is a solution. Stop using Gmail, stop using any form of email, and let's just go back to the analogue days. Don't want to? Then deal with it!

I am an Android user so i accept that Google knows my every move throughout the day. They even know what time i go to bed! Use Avast on your mobile? What do you think has been going on there the whole time? Come on people.
