« on: November 15, 2013, 12:50:40 AM »
Anyone have any idea on how to fix this? I can't disable Windows defender through the program and so far haven't found anyway to fix this problem :( Any support would be very much appreciated :)

Specs: Windows 7 Home
Avast Free Antivirus

Open your start menu and type/copy-paste services.msc into the run menu, scoll down to Windows Defender and double click to open then set the startup type to Disabled and click Apply to finish.

Do you have any other security installed on the system or old security software that hasn't been completely uninstalled http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/protect/forum/mse-protect_scanning/error-code-0x8002801d-library-not-registered/4a02f8e1-baf7-4469-97ad-3526573e146c
