My Metro IE app now gets stuck in an infinity loop after installing the latest Avast update.
For example;
IF I try to access Bing.com.
I am redirected to res://ieframe.dll/acr_error_IM.htm#bing.com,http://www.bing.com/
Eventually the URL looks like this
res://ieframe.dll/acr_error_IM.htm#,res://ieframe.dll/acr_error_IM.htm#,res://ieframe.dll/acr_error_IM.htm#,res://ieframe.dll/acr_error_IM.htm#,res://ieframe.dll/acr_error_IM.htm#,res://ieframe.dll/acr_error_IM.htm#bing.com,http://www.bing.com/
If I uninstall Avast!, everything works fine.
Does anyone know how I can fix this? I really need the Metro IE app since it is easier to use than the desktop IE (Which works fine) on the Surface Pro tablet.sol
