Virus Definitions not updating, new thread...

I realize there is an old thread started by dallas, but it's swamped and off on tangents. Please refrain from that here.... 
I just noticed that the def updates are not updating. Tried manually, NG too. Never noticed this. Seems it's been since 31111-0 or ...26?, comes up as an 'unknown error'...

Running Latest Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit...
Latest Avast Internet Security...

When doing manual update with vps, it also errors...
It seems to say it's there, but only knows of the 31111 or ..26 version?

Here is what is in the def folder... see attached - Shows a ...27 version...

does avast give any errors.... if not all is OK

Click on the attached image in my first post. See the numbers and it also says unknown error. Don't recall ever getting errors...

What's your current VPS version?

Not at my desk at the moment, but latest version posted.

Ok, just got back. went into Avast itself and it finally had a successful update. Got me on that one. Tried all morning to get it to work. Maybe at Avast Server side?
