Avast Online Security settings for Google Chrome
« on: November 26, 2013, 11:22:21 PM »
This has never happened before. I open up Google Chrome, click on the Avast Online Security icon, tick all of the settings as shown in pic 1. I then click on settings, where it always shows some other other settings where you can make changes and save them, but for some other reason(s) it shows me a blank page as shown in pic 2.

Is this a bug? I uninstalled and reinstalled Avast with avast uninstall utility and avast clean up tool... It's still the same. Re-installing Google Chrome still same result.

If i visit a new website all of the setting that i changed in pic 1 it goes back to reset and I have to tick all of the settings in pic 1. If all of the settings that comes up in pic 2 like it always have and I save those settings. All of the settings that I changed will stay at it is.

Please help!

The page shown is a HTTPS webpage and avast doesn't scan HTTPS pages.  :)
