Virus not found by avast

I was trying out a trojan scanner called trojan guarder. It said it found a trojan so I went online to symantec for a free scan it found a trojan it was called mini bug. But before i did the scan from symantec I did a boot scan using avast and it found nothing. How can i get rid of this virus.

Send file to virus@avast.com in password protected archive (don't forget to write password in message body). Also you can try to scan PC with http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ it should remove virus, but be carefull, at first read all instructions carefully, and change default scanner behavior settings to Ask user.
