BSOD aswmonflt.sys (Unloaded_aswMonFlt.sy+0x18F40)

Hi All

I just downloaded Avast to install it to a new pc.  In the middle of the install it BSOD on me.  Checking out the dump this is what I see.

On Thu 11/28/2013 3:43:55 PM GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\112813-8626-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: aswmonflt.sys (Unloaded_aswMonFlt.sy+0x18F40)
Bugcheck code: 0xD4 (0xFFFFF880015CAF40, 0x2, 0x1, 0xFFFFF80002BB218B)
Error: SYSTEM_SCAN_AT_RAISED_IRQL_CAUGHT_IMPROPER_DRIVER_UNLOAD
Bug check description: This indicates that a driver did not cancel pending operations before unloading.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: aswmonflt.sys .

Not sure if this was just a fluke when it installed or what.  I was able to revert to an earlier recovery point so the system is fine im just nervous about trying an install again.

Any Ideas?

Thanks!
