Hello avast! users!
I'm relaunching as a freeware an old tool of mine: avast! at logon time.
This program automatically schedules avast! Antivirus at logon time.
It halts the logon process until avast! scanning finishes.
After you did the job, you need click Ctrl+Alt+Del to logoff/logon in normal way again.
- Faster scanning: no personal processes are running in background.
- Access to avast! Chest (Quarantine) (which you do not have at boot time scanning).
- Access to avast! interface and all its options/settings (which you also cannot do at boot time scanning).
Minimum system requirements: Windows XP and avast! Antivirus v.4 (it was developed on Windows 8.1 x64 and compiled to x32).
It's not an official avast! file/executable.
It's a freeware without any warranty. Use at your own risk.
Limitations:
- You must be able to boot and make logon in the computer.
- Your avast! installation should be working.
