Internet Antivirus Upgrade
« on: December 07, 2013, 11:13:44 AM »
Every time I have tried to install the upgrade (3) it crashes my system. (Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit}
I have plenty of RAM 3GB DDR2 and all software is currently maintained by my AVAST program. The safe zone works poorly, vastly inferior to previous edition. Flash Player crashes all pages I attempt to log on to. I don't use Chrome as a browser. I have never liked it. I really have little good to say about any browsers. Explorer doesn't do well with this upgrade either. I have had to uninstall the virus program and reinstall the original then everything works as it should.

What previous antivirus did your computer have? Norton, McAfee, etc. Run it's corresponding uninstaller/removal tool in safe mode. Did you re-install your previous antivirus again? Since you uninstalled avast, I suggest you to do this. After you run the previous antivirus uninstaller/removal tool. Run avast uninstall utility in safe mode, after that download and run this tool in normal mode Avast Cleanup Tool http://rejzor.wordpress.com/avast-cleanup-tool/, after that manually restart your computer again.

Finally install a fresh new copy of your Avast Antivirus. I hope this will work for you!

AVAST was my prior program and after doing those things the result is still the same. I use the paid Internet Security Suite. Thank you

Try using the new beta. This beta is very stable. Just use the custom install and be extremely cautious
about what modules you install.
