hello i have a problem with avast (2014.9.0.2009) after updating the icon is not active after a reboot why hello

Try a second reboot (although you may have already done that by now looking at the time of your post)  as I often find that two reboots are needed to settle everything in.

Failing that run a repair.

Programs and Features
Avast
Left hand side - Repair and follow instructions

After it is finished reboot  (maybe twice  :) )
