Hi all,
I am trying to figure out what the Avast Firewall is blocking, or where it logs, or even how to see notifications. I am trying to communicate with a virtual machine on my system which is using bridged network interface. (Thus communication is going out of machine then coming back in) It is the Avast firewall that is actively blocking this communication as if I turn it off the communication works, turn firewall back on it stops. There is absolutely nothing in the firewall.log file, no amount of creating and changing rules makes it work. Any idea's where to track this down? It's very frustrating.
