Online Security - 'Do Not Track' Problem
« on: December 13, 2013, 01:04:47 AM »
I have the latest version of Chrome (31.0.1650.63 m) and I just installed avast Antivirus yesterday, so I assume I have the latest version of avast! Online Security Chrome extension (9.0.2005.45). I use StumbleUpon, but it doesn't work with the 'Do Not Track' function unless I go into the settings and uncheck the option, 'Block social networks by default.' However, when I do that, obviously all the other social networks can still track. Is there not some way to set an exception for the social network 'Do Not Track' settings, so I can set stumbleupon.com as an exception, but still block the other social network tracks?

Also, regardless of the settings of the add-on, I can still use my Facebook, so it's not causing problems with that.
