Why does AvastSvc.exe have many TCP Connections....
« on: December 18, 2013, 07:33:42 PM »
In TCPiew, it shows many TCP connections to User-PC (17 connections), user-PC (9 connections) and localhost (7 connections).
All the User-PC s and user-PC s are always LISTENING and localhost are ESTABLISHED right now.
Why? What does it do and does it need so many TCP connections to... my computer?

Im not an expert here...

thank you

Some go to different avast servers some have something to do with the ports on your computer.
Each has a separate reason for being there.
May I suggest you do a "Google" search for each connection.  :)

Yes, but Im not talking about the TCP conections going to actual addresses, Im talking about the ones that are going to User-PC, user-PC and localhost.

Thanks for a reply though.
