avast update blocking Facebook Games

I have just updated to Avast 2012.9.0.2008

I can no longer play some of my games on Facebook. I am using Firefox and by elimination have found out that by disabling internet security the games will play. Can anyone help me please

You are using an old version of Avast!. Update then try again
