Problem with Avast ProAntivirus

Hi, I hope someone can help.  I'm running Windows XP and Pro Antivirus.  It's coming up with 'Unable to Start Scan.  There are no more endpoints avalable from the endpoint mapper.  I've tried the 'repair' option in uninstall but with no luck.  In addition when I check the subscription status it tells me 0 days remaining even though we are subscribed until 2015

i am facing the same problem with OS Windows 7 ultimate :: Avast free antivirus 2014

have you tried repair from ad/remove programs > avast > uninstall/change ?
