SMS and Call Filter not working on HTC One

After updating my HTC One to android 4.4, the Avast SMS and call filter is not working. In particular the blocked sms's are coming strainght through? Any advice?

Hi,

SMS filtering doesn't work on 4.4 at the moment. I don't think there is a non-rooted solution for that out already.
