I've been using Avast successfully for a few years now but noticed that it wouldn't start today either automatically or manually. http://forum.avast.com/Smileys/default/sad.gif

The message says " /2057/UILangres.dll is missing". It was in folder 1033 so I copied it across and it still didn't start. So I downloaded a new copy, re-installed and it still won't start. So now I have no safety s/w running. What can I do to get it running again???

For information, I use Windows 7 Home edition and the Avast version is 2014.9.0.2011

Try to add "English UK" language pack from Control Panel.
