My Avast WebSite and Avast 9.0.2011
« on: December 24, 2013, 02:24:21 PM »
Hello,

I found a bug with My Avast WebSite and Avast 9.0.2011.

If Avast 9.0.2011 is installed without the email shield (or it upgrades a previous installation that didnt had the email shield installed), My Avast website will report the device with "Real Time Shields" Off.

Even when the other shields that are currently installed are running...

Thanks for your time!

How many devices does your account show?  ???
Are there multiple entries for the same device?  ???

If there are multiple entries for the same device, delete the duplicates.  :)

Hello!

Thanks for your reply!

I have 25 devices. None of them are related to the same device. Just one entry per device.

Thanks!

With twenty five devices, are you in a business setting?

Hello!

No, its not a business.
Its only phones, laptops or pcs from family and friends.
I usually fix stuff for them.
Its easier to me find out whats happening in their machines.

Does deleting a device and adding it again?
And please wait e.g. 4 hours before adding it again, so everything has been updated for sure.

Hello Eddy!

I did try your suggestion, however the same behavior persists.

Thanks for your time!
