avast! Blocking Minecrafts server connection. [Partially]
« on: December 27, 2013, 10:33:58 AM »
Hey there Avast! community. So, recently I've been noticing on my server console [I run a Minecraft server], that although players can join, there's a java socket exception. I sat for a while going through software updates for the server, checking possible faulty plugins, etc., and finally I considered it being Avast. This came to mind since Avast also blocks another game I play. So I turned off Avast and joined my server. There were no errors on the console. It seems Avast! real time shields are partially blocking the connection.
