avast probs when computer is in safe mode

i started my computer in safe mode then launched  avast which opened with red alert saying its not upto date etc....

but when i start my computer as  normal avast opens with message saying  everything is good...and upto date.

so   is there something wrong ? is there any action required on my part ?

are you getting the same thing ?  try opening your avast when your comuter is in safe mode and internet disconnected

Why are you even booting into safe mode?

What you are experiencing is normal since the Real Time Protection (shields) don't run in Safe Mode.

However, from there you are able to run scans and schedule boot time scans.
