It's showing I have Avast 32 bit but my Windows 81 is 64 bit.  How can I change it?

Avast is 32 bit so you don't change anything.

You've been a member for 16 months and nearly a thousand posts and you only just realised that :o remember Google is your friend, just ask him anything you want.

I'll find out what the difference is between 32 and 64 bit but I won't use Google.

Google was suggestive, meaning search the internet.

Bing's worse.  But that's one man's opinion.

One important tidbit that might help:  A 64 bit Windows operating system runs both 32 and 64 bit programs.

Asking "good" questions is also important.
Alas there are no stupid questions.

But one should know how to do a search whether it's Google or Bing.  ::)

What I can't figure out is what does -midnight have against Google.  ???

This is something that was explained to her many times before.  ::)

I don't remember asking what the difference is between 32 and 64 bit.

In regard to Google..........I don't like it so I usually search With McAfee secure search.
