I recently updated automatically the Free Avast which i i am still trying out after using MacAffee for a few years. Until i updated - i have had no issues Uploading my music. I run a music label and i am also a producer and i DJ, thus i upload 1000 of files over a period of perhaps 2 or 3 months and have had only one or two minor issues due to another cause. I have been unable to upload to Soundcloud and after 2 days, i guessed it could be due to this update of Avast.
It was. If i turn off web protection - the upload is as smooth as ever. With it on, i simply can not upload. Please review the software because it is causing an issue with their flash which is used in their upload process. Also, often, if i try to turn web protection off, Avast locks up and i have to reboot.
Perhaps a fix patch?
