Avast blocking web site
« on: January 12, 2014, 05:05:37 PM »
I have had Avast free version for years with no problems, but the latest version blocks my Facebook backgammon site. Apparently, the new Avast problem is quite widespread and people suggest different solutions. None of them worked for me, so presently I am using an older version of Avast with no problems.
Is there a more sophisticated solution?

What is the exact link to the site?
Please make it not clickable.

Change http to hxxp

If you believe it is a false positive, you can report it here:

Non-clickable is change https with htxps!
For general insecurities see here: https://asafaweb.com/Scan?Url=https%3A%2F%2Fapps.facebook.com
Cannot establish anything via: http://app.webinspector.com/public/reports/19414541
There are various problems with xss and x-content, cache-control and cookie security option settings!
Site check here seems OK: http://www.networking4all.com/nl/helpdesk/tools/site+check/report/?fqdn=https%3A%2F%2Fapps.facebook.com%2Fplaygembackgammon%2F%3F&protocol=https

Maybe you need a qualified removal expert here to establish if you haven't been in contact with malcode!
The generic malcode launched from IP seems to have been closed: http://support.clean-mx.de/clean-mx/viruses.php?sort=firstseen%20desc&review=69.171.237.20

Cybersecurity is more of an attitude than anything else. Avast Evangelists.

Use NoScript, a limited user account and a virtual machine and be safe(r)!

<<Maybe you need a qualified removal expert>>
What a terrific advice! Avast changes to a new version and my problem (and others' also) starts and I need an expert. Thanx a bunch.
