Avast not working rpoperly with emClient

I have emClient v6 and I am using the latest Avast Free version. I don't think incoming emails are being handled properly as I set the option to insert a message into clean or infected inbound emails but nothing comes up on the emails. I am using IMAP without SSL, the avast log just has:

whereas for Outlook accessing the same server it gives some details of the inbound message and inserts the clean/infected message into the email.

Any ideas how to fix this?
