I installed avast a few hours ago, as I was trialing a few different av's at the time.
Long story short I wasn't fond of the program and tried to uninstall it, after trying to uninstall it from the control panel, the uninstaller hung on one of the last steps, not even ending the process would stop it, so after restarting, I was happy t find avast gone from my computer.
I was not however, happy to find it had taken all of my program files folder with it.
I'm running Windows 8.1 off an SSD, but avast was installed to my 2TB HDD, I was wondering if there is any fix for this, or if I should just use Recuvra to try and recover my files.
