Java apps blocked

I would most definitely agree, as far as the web app is concerned.

The desktop app, I'm not 100% certain but, couldn't replicate the problem and don't see how or why avast! would've blocked it (without notice).
The Java update didn't block or corrupt the desktop app either; I remember now, that problem occurred after installing this beta but before java update. Coincidence, most likely. Enough to confuse anybody..

you have to add the website individually each one at a time.  Go into the control panel and theres a place in there in the java applet to add your website.  I think it is under security tab. see http://websdr.org/java.html
